hope this hasn't been answered before, but i was just wondering why druids cannot battlerez in bearform? deathknights can battlerez with their full armor still on but bears have to shift out and cast. do deathknights have a special talent or something? (i don't know about deathknights so if they do please explain). And i hate doing the "why does this class have this and i dont!" thing but i was just curious about this.

Costs them half of their runic power, and they can't glyph theirs to be 100% HP as far as I'm aware unless something's changed in the past little while or I be misinformed.
Plus, the likely more mechanical answer would be that rebirth is a 'spell' and hasn't been changed to function like barkskin as far as the mostly standard 'form removal at spell casting' mechanic goes.

It's a want, I don't think it's a need a this point.
It hurts a DK just as much having to blow 50 RP on it as it screws up their RE tetris. Just like it hurts us using barkskin to shift out and do it. If they made it cost a full rage bar, it still wouldn't hurt us because we don't have something like RE to deal with. If our damage reduction % was based on our rage bar's level then cost us our rage to cast it, you would have similarities for druids and dk's to both be able to do it while tanking.
With 3 classes being able to brez, the necessity of doing it has gone down.

I agree with kojo, 50RP is not big deal. You have various resources to pool RP. And, it doesnt matter if you screw up your rune tetris, if you are casting a brez, is because you need it.
Some ppl say that bears have plenty of chances to go caster and brez in some fights, but that is not always.
But, i understand that brezzing as bear is not something really necesary, but it would improve our quality of life significantly.
Other posibility is: make rebirth instant
