feral pvp

Hello,

I've recently switched to feral from ret and needless to say...i'm amazed by the flexibility of the class. I'm mostly trying to gear up for pve but i always had the interest in learning to pvp.

In pve our rotation is priority based.
But how about pvp? Ofcourse it depends on the occasion and player class /specwe are against.

Let me make a basic scenario:

I am prowling and in front of me there is a:

1) frost mage

2) arms warrior

3) sub Rogue

Should i always charge/ravage?
what would be an approach against these classes?

Also, if there is a feral pvp guide link i'd be glad if you shared it.

Thanks in advance

There is a pretty standard Warrior first opener.

FCharge > Pounce > Ravage...

The pounce is gonna get trinket'd by any good Warrior in a duel. Youre going to get feared and you have to trinket that or odds are you are going to get blown up. A lot of 1v1ing high armour targets is open > bleeds > 5 point rip > kite heal > restealth > repeat.

Ice Mages are a different story. I tend to open without feral charging and try to shadow meld the frost nova but its still really difficult since the shape shifting nerf.

Now Druids have better stealth than rogues so they all should allow the opener. I recommend this video: Zybak vs Mercader

EDIT: Silly old me forgot the link.
1) frost mage

Use stampeding roar and dash to break frost nova (Don't break the wrong nova that's on a dif dr), trinket freeze, heal during ice block, use skull bash to close openers if you need to, which also makes them waste mana.

Any good mage will see that you charged because of the daze effect so I never charge personally first up.

2) arms warrior

charge, pounce etc and kite just don't get in their charge range. savage roar and hot yourself is win.

3) sub Rogue

I find this a pretty even match up. Barkskin shadow dance or survival ins. Force trinket by using cyclone and then use auto roots if you need distance also AND KEEP FF AND BLEEDS UP. Cyclone or root evasion. Getting gouged into a blind etc sucks and they can burn a lot of time to wait for ticks to fall off etc if you can't get behind him just mangle spam KILL THEM, KILL THEM ALL. Keep them near you at all times! don't run to far away otherwise they will restealth and cr@p all over you. I haven't experienced that before or anything >.> lol watch their cd's, they are heavily dependent on them and i personally wait for them to burn a few before i use beserk because if they are smart they will try and get away from that with gouge and blind but yer, be patient with rogues, that's the key imo.

Duel people that can offer you advice as to why you are failing if you are.
Wrote this in a few seconds so appologies for errors etc GL!
